Residents at HC One’s The Sycamores spent a lovely sunny day in the garden enjoying some delicious ice creams.
All of the Resident’s at the Hyde care home enjoyed an ice cream in the sunshine today, and a glass of juice with ice and a straw from the homes homemade ice cream shop!
There was flavours to choose from such as strawberry, chocolate or vanilla ice cream and also orange or elderflower juice.
There was the option to have a Flake 99, chocolate sprinkles and strawberry or chocolate sauce which came in a cone or tub.
One Resident commented “I can’t choose a flavour, they all look so delicious!”
Each Resident ‘placed their order’ at the ice-cream shop and was served with a smile!
The home manager said “I thought it was a lovely thing to do for our Residents to keep them nice and cool on a hot day like today.”
