Colleagues at HC-One’s Hyde Nursing care home in Hyde recently help a very special Resident celebrate her 80th birthday in style.
On 7th January, Hyde Resident, Iren Slack turned 80 and with current restrictions on visiting, social distancing and mixing, her big birthday plans didn’t go ahead as planned.
However, Colleagues at Hyde still made sure Irene would have her best birthday yet. A group of Residents and Colleagues gathered in the homes dining area, socially distanced, to enjoy a lovely tea party, with music and even a little bit of singing afterwards.
Irene loved her little surprise and was understanding of the restrictions that were in place and thanked all the Colleagues at Hyde and her fellow Residents for such a lovely day.
Hyde Home Manager, Michelle said: “I would like to wish Irene a very health 80th birthday.”
