Intergenerational activities are a success at Wigston care homeResidents at Magna care home in Wigston were delighted to welcome students from the local Cradle Nursery for a fun-filled afternoon.

As they took part in the intergenerational activities, Residents enjoyed inspiring the children to show off their inner artists as they took part in a Valentine’s Day themed arts and crafts session.

The students got to work on creating crafts and colouring in pictures, as Residents gave them a helping hand and chatted to them about how life had changed since they were growing up.

Chipo Mupunga, Home Manager at Magna, said: “The Residents really enjoyed their visit today from the Cradle Nursery. We are already looking forward to them coming back to see our Residents again throughout the rest of the year.”
