Residents at HC-One’s Falstone Manor care home in Roker, Sunderland enjoyed celebrating Italian cuisine and culture with a special day making homemade Italian food.
A group of five Residents came together to prepare a delicious Italian meal from scratch, everyone shared their favourite memories or thoughts about Italian landmarks, famous people and their delicious cuisine.
Everyone enjoyed sampling the tasty meals with Italian wine and traditional music to create a more authentic atmosphere.
One Resident commented: “I would love to visit Italy and today I felt like I was transported their with this delightful food.”
