Knitting fun at Woking care homeResidents at HC-One’s Kettlewell House care home were excited to get knitting as they regularly enjoy taking part in various activities in the home.

Everyone enjoyed taking part in an afternoon of knitting as they came together to make pom poms which will soon become a lovely hanging decoration in the home.

Residents chatted about the knitting they had done in the past, as they spoke to Colleagues about the types of yarn and the various needle sizes for different projects they take part in.

Everyone enjoyed the afternoon, as one Resident remarked: “We have enjoyed chatting together and reminiscing about the knitting we have done in the past. Comparing our materials with one another was also interesting.”

Mike Rebbeck, home manager, commented: “Everyone has enjoyed this afternoon’s singing and dancing. Laughter filled the air as Residents reminisced about their favourite songs.”
