Les Littler, Resident at HC-One’s Larchwood care home, recently published a book titled “All change, in the life of an adventurer”, with the book launch being held in the home.
Les began writing the book in 2016, and based it on the adventures he had experienced throughout his life so far. As both he and his wife are Residents of the care home, Les kindly vowed for all book sale proceeds to go to Essex Dementia Care.
To honour this commitment, and to celebrate raising £1000 so far from book sales, Les presented a cheque for this total to the organisation as they attended the home to enjoy a mid morning tea party held in Les’ and their honour.
Les was overjoyed with the event and was happy to provide the organisation with a cheque for the fantastic sum.
