Leicester care home Residents make new furry friends on Pet dayResidents at HC-One’s Grey Ferrers care home in Leicester made some new furry friends as Pet day arrived at the home.

Woodville Unit Residents enjoyed a visit from two dogs and their owners, who were staff members Joanne Smith and Kira Avent, on the 26th April, as they brought in their pet dogs for Residents to make friends with.

The dogs visited all the Residents and was a massive hit especially the small one that was able to sit on the Residents knees and have cuddles.

Residents commented on how gorgeous the dogs were and how furry the felt, which really cheered them up.

Located in Braunstone, a peaceful residential area of Leicester, Grey Ferrers is a friendly 120 bed care home, offering residential, nursing and memory care, for those living with dementia.
