Resident and Colleagues at HC One’s Harley Grange care home hosted their very own birthday party to make up for missing care home open day.
Liz, wellbeing coordinator at the Leicester care home, was celebrating her birthday so the home decided to join in and host a party.
Everyone at the home got dressed up and did their hair nice so they were all ready for the party. The home was decorated with balloons and birthday banners too.
Residents joined in signing ‘happy birthday’ to Liz and even played heads, shoulders, knees and toes.
After a sing a long and lots of fun, a beautiful birthday cake was shared out along with goodie bags for every Resident.
One of the Residents commented “it was so lovely to receive a personalised goody bag, it was filled with lots of treats, chocolate bars and shower gel too.”
