Liverpool Residents stay in tune with music therapy sessionsResidents have been making beautiful music together in music therapy sessions at HC-One’s Ash Court care home in Knotty Ash, Merseyside.

Natasha, a Wellbeing Coordinator at the home, often gets out a wide variety of instruments, including drums, tambourines and shakers for the Residents to play. They then choose their favourite songs and sing, dance and play along to them.

The music therapy sessions are great exercise for Residents as flex their muscles with a shake of the tambourine or a bang of the drum in beat with their favourite tunes.

Ash Court Home Manager, Laura Mosedale, commented: “It’s a fantastic activity that is very well received by the Residents.”
