Local pilot lifts spirits of Malvern care home ResidentsResidents and Colleagues at HC One’s Court House care home enjoy watching local pilot cheer everyone up from the sky.

Local pilot Richard Goodwin, has been doing his best to cheer up the local Malvern community the best way he knows how – creating shapes in the sky.

Residents sat in the court yard of the home and watched up above as Richard created smiley faces, love hearts and more from his private plane.

Richard Goodwin has spent over 30 years carrying out aerobatics and has won a trophy for his talents too. He has been flying Boeing planes since 1993 and still continuing to do so to this day, he might just have been the Captain on one of your holidays.

Richard is very well known for his impressive displays, so it was a real treat for Residents to be able to watch him from the comfort of the home, perfect whilst in a pandemic of course too!

The Residents all said how much they enjoyed watching Richard fly, and it was great fun guessing which shapes he would create next. It was a beautiful warm day too, a perfect way to spend an afternoon in the garden.
