Residents at HC-One’s The Beeches care home in Dunfermline were over the moon to have been donated a smart speaker from their local radio station.
Local radio station Chief Radio recently donated an Amazon Echo Dot to Residents at The Beeches care home, so that their radio listening needs were met. The Echo Dot will allow Residents to tune in to multiple radio stations, listen to playlists of some old classics or even to talk to their loved ones.
Residents were taken back by the lovely gesture, which is sure to improve their wellbeing, allowing them to choose their own songs and involve themselves in social activities.
One The Beeches Resident said: “What a lovely gesture, they have shown so much kindness donating this speaker to us.”
Everyone at the home is now looking forward to trying their brand-new device and to see what joy it can bring and of course to listen to their friends on Chief Radio.
