London care home celebrate key dates in MarchResidents at HC-One’s Cedar House care home in Harefield, London, celebrated Mother’s Day on 14th March and St Patricks Day on 17th March.

Cedar House Residents had a lovely weekend celebrating Mothering Sunday, from cards and gifts, to crafts quizzes, Residents enjoyed a wide variety of activity and received a lot of love from Colleagues and their loved ones.

Music, dancing and games followed the morning of opening presents and crafting, and a movie afternoon screening of Mamma Mia the musical was streamed to Residents to help decorate the home with their new decorations.

Patience Sibanda, Home Manager at Cedar House said: “It was a shame that we were unable to mix the Residents and enjoy the sing a long in a large group due to the ongoing safety measure, but everyone still really enjoyed their day.”

On March 17th, Cedar House Residents had an amazing time celebrating St Patrick's day. The home looked wonderful decorated in the new decorations, which the Residents enjoyed helping to put up.

The day was full of music, fun, Irish dancing and laughter and the staff all had a go at trying their hand at Irish Dancing, which Residents absolutely loved watching.

Colleagues also enjoyed playing Irish themed Bingo an Irish Quiz and Crafts before the afternoon ended by watching a screening of Riverdance.
