London care home receives generous Christmas donationsMany kind donations have been made to Residents and Colleagues at HC-One’s Tower Bridge care home in Southwark.

Donations of presents, gift hampers and cards were made by local schools, supermarkets, churches and Residents’ family members to ensure that everyone in the home could have an incredible Christmas.

Each and every Resident received a gift and a card this Christmas and kind donations were also made to Colleagues, thanking them for all their hard work over a difficult year.

One Resident commented: “I’m in amazement at the kindness of the local community.”

Tower Bridge was overwhelmed with the number of donations they received from St Saviour’s Secondary School and Grange Primary School who thoughtfully organised a Christmas shoebox appeal.

Many Residents wrote cards and letters back to the children, thanking them for their generosity and the thoughtful words in their Christmas cards.

Colleagues also put together a wish list for Residents so that families could buy meaningful gifts for their loved ones in the home.

Tower Bridge would like to thank everybody who donated gifts and took the time to write cards to the Residents and Colleagues.

The phenomenal donation made this Christmas extra special and raised the spirits of everyone at the home, especially after such a difficult year.
