Avis, a Resident at HC One’s Magna care home, got to see her best friend on a visit today.
Avis was thrilled to see her best friend Brenda during lockdown at the Wigston care home.
Brenda used to play the drums in the orchestra that Avis founded many years ago and they have been friends ever since.
They had a lovely talk together and reminisced on happier times that they had shared over the years. Brenda was delighted on how Avis looked in herself.
Brenda could tell that Avis had settled into the home well and thanked all of the Magna staff for the love and care that Avis so desperately needed.
Rest assured Brenda will be back again to see her best friend and cannot wait for the day that she can give her a big hug once more.
After Brenda’s visit, Avis played her piano in the ground floor lounge for Residents and staff, the music was lovely and calming.
The home manager said “I was delighted that the visit went well.
Afterwards Avis played some wonderful music on her piano for Residents and Colleagues.”
