Residents Joyce Smith, Joan Webb, Mercedes Herbert and Barbara Lees enjoyed various cakes such as carrot cake, lemon drizzle cake, flapjacks, shortbread and iced cupcakes prepared by the in-house catering team.

The lounge area was decorated with MacMillan bunting and Mark wore a flowery apron to ensure he looked the part.

Colleagues contributed by purchasing goodies and the home raised over £200 for the charity.

Residents favourite part of the day was definitely eating the cakes! And they all said Mark looked really good in his flowery apron and served the cake brilliantly.

Home Manager, Rebecca Bristow, remarked, “Mark always ensures the Residents have a fun filled activity and the catering team supported him by baking several lovely cakes. A great activity that raised money for a good cause.
