It was a delicious day at HC-One’s Croft Avenue care home in Penrith as Residents enjoyed a make your own pizza activity.
Five Residents chose to participate in a pizza making session where they got creative with their pizza toppings. Italian music was played as Residents prepared their pizzas, as they were cooking Residents enjoyed a themed quiz and shared memories of holidays to Tuscany with their families.
The smell of freshly baked pizzas filled Croft Avenue as Residents tucked in to their handmade creations, a great time was had by all with Residents commenting that it was fun to see what people preferred on their pizzas compared to others.
Croft Avenue Home Manager, Teresa McGuiness said: “I am glad that everyone enjoyed making their own pizzas, they looked and smelt beautiful.”
