As a gift from Colleagues and Residents to their Relatives, at Victoria Park care home, in Derbyshire, they decided to create a personalised bauble for each family with a photograph of their loved one inside.
These will be nice keepsake gifts for the Relatives to hang up at home on their tree as a reminder, especially after the hard year.
Colleagues are hoping to give these gifts to the Relatives when the visits begin rolling out next week in hopes to keep the high spirits up.
The Residents were very happy about the idea of their family receiving something for Christmas from us! One Resident said, “My daughter will absolutely love it!”
Rosie Scollins, Wellbeing Coordinator, remarked, “Because of the tough year we've had, we knew that it would be extra special if we got something that the Relatives can keep and treasure.”
