Manchester Residents enjoy flower craftingWhen one Resident at HC-One’s Worsley Lodge residential care home, asked to make her own flowers, everyone jumped on board with the activity.

A Colleague at the home asked one Resident, Hilda, if she would like some flowers in her room, but creatively, instead she asked if they could make her some.

An activity was recently done by other Residents to create some brightly coloured paper flowers, see pictured.

The flowers were taken to Hilda’s room and she was delighted with them, “The colours make me feel like summer is here and makes me feel happier.”

Hilda thanked Colleagues and the Residents that had made them (Margaret and Susan), she said it had brightened up her day!

Anne Bannon, Care Home Manager, said, “What a lovely activity and great team work by all!”
