Residents kept warm today by celebrating National Hot Chocolate Day over at HC-One’s Barton Brook care home in Eccles, Salford.
Everyone enjoyed a relaxing afternoon watching Oliver as they sipped on fancy hot chocolates complete with marshmallows and tiny umbrellas, very fitting on this cold rainy day.
Residents then chose their favourite songs to play and everyone enjoyed a sing-a-long and a little dance.
It was a fun day enjoyed by everyone but National Hot Chocolate Day was bittersweet this year as it marked the farewell of a much-loved Care Assistant, Johnny.
However, an afternoon of dancing was the perfect way for Residents and Colleagues to wish Johnny luck on his new adventure.
