Elmwood House care home in Boston, Lincolnshire was delighted to welcome the Mayor of Boston for a luxurious afternoon tea.
Members of the local community attended the afternoon tea, along with Residents at neighbouring HC-One care home The Gardens, for an elegant and entertaining afternoon.
Talented over 50s singing group, Singing for Fun, performed for guests as they tucked in to a selection of sandwiches, cakes and sparkling wine.
Residents were delighted to meet the Mayor of Boston, Councillor Anton Dani, as they found out more about his work and plans for the local community.
John, a Resident at Elmwood House, said: “It was nice to see the mayor again. I enjoyed speaking with him.”
