Residents at Millbrook care home in Stalybridge, Tameside enjoyed a delicious afternoon tea at the historic Stockport Plaza café.
Located within the Plaza super cinema and theatre, the venue boasts 1,600 seats in the auditorium along with beautiful, traditional decorations.
Residents chose from a variety of afternoon tea options on the menu, with most opting for a selection of sandwiches, a traditional cream tea and a hot beverage.
Soft music from the 1930s era played in the background while Residents chatted amongst themselves.
The afternoon tea went down a treat amongst Residents, with May commenting: “This used to be my local theatre, I’ve always liked it.”
