Colleagues at HC-One’s The Moat House care home in Essex, embraced Mothering Sunday by decorating their home with banners, posters and balloons for Residents to enjoy.
In the afternoon, Residents celebrated by thinking about their mothers, and what they meant to them by decorating a memory tree with heartfelt thoughts. Colleagues also encouraged each Residents to decide what flowers best represented their Mothers.
The Moat House wellbeing coordinators, Dana and Gill also organised bunches of Daffodils to be presented to the lovely female Residents. Robina and Constance seemed particularly enthralled with their flowers, alongside all the lovely cards and gifts the ladies received from their families and friends.
