At HC-One’s Silverwood care home in Nottingham, Colleagues wanted to make sure the beautiful ladies residing at the home had the best day, so they spoilt them with lots of gifts and love.
Colleagues made sure the Residents had on their own personally chosen music whilst they enjoyed breakfast, in the homes decorated dining rooms. This was followed by opening up their presents and cards with a small glass of prosecco or a cup of tea instead.
Afterwards, the ladies had a small party cake with a small glass of wine, or a beer for the men, or a cup of tea instead. Colleagues had many WhatsApp messages and Video call requests for Residents and photos taken to send to their loved ones.
Lots of singing and laughter was enjoyed during the evening as Colleagues wanted to make sure there was lots of fun being had.
The day was ended with a lovely Mother’s Day cake and a film for the Residents to enjoy and where they could discuss past experiences they enjoyed with their Mother’s and daughters.
