Today the Grasmere Unit at Callands care home had an afternoon of movement to music with all the Residents on the unit.
Colleagues hosted the move to music by playing a variety of tunes to different music and getting Residents up dancing or performing arm exercises.
Around 12 Residents took part on Grasmere Unit, including D Allington, L Rose, R Riddings and A Chiweda, loved having movement to music they try and do this every afternoon. Snacks and drinks were provided to refuel and carry on!
Deputy Manager, Mary Durkin, commented, “It was lovely to see all of the staff involved and trying to involve as many Residents as they could. Everyone loved the equipment, dancing and the music. It was wonderful seeing the residents smile and enjoying themselves.”
