It is beach party day at The Millbrook residential care home as Residents and staff celebrate ‘National Fish and Chips Day’ with an abundance of great music, fish and chips from the local chippy, and Hawaiian themed decorations.
Jackie, Molly, John, Sheila, Olivia, Maria, Joan and Hilda, who all live at the home, thoroughly enjoyed the day.
Olivia remarked, “It’s nice to get used to the good weather.”
“The fish and chips were lovely!” Jackie said.
“We like the tables decorated with flowers and the grass table skirt,” another Resident added.
Claire Jones, Home Manager, commented, “Its lovely seeing the Residents enjoy the weather and having fun in the sun.”
