Resident and booklover Edna Ball, took a trip to the newly decorated reading area that is situated just outside of the Rowan unit at Old Gates care home in Lancashire.
Escorted by Activities Coordinator, Christy Udoewa, Edna enjoyed a good book in some peace and quiet. Her favourite book is ‘Wise Words and County Ways’. She really enjoyed listening to Christy reading her some poems.
One member of staff commented, “The library area is beautiful, staff walking by said it is lovely to see Residents enjoying the space”.
