Residents and members of the team at HC-One’s St Clare’s Court, on Central Avenue, in Newton Aycliffe have been busy creating a wonderful scarecrow for a local community competition.
St Clares Church in Newton Aycliffe hosts an annual Harvest Service and scarecrow competition for members of the local community to take part in, the Residents and team at the home decided they wanted to enter the competition this year. So everyone got busy coming up with ideas for the design and creation of their very own scarecrow.
Residents settled on making a fairy and the group worked together to bring their idea to life, everyone had a great time creating the scarecrow and were pleased with the final result.
St Clare’s Court Home Manager, Michelle Jones said: “It was lovely to see everyone working together to create our wonderful scarecrow, we cannot wait to see the rest of the creations at the competition.”
