Today, Colleagues on shift at Dovedale Court care home in Wednesbury West Midlands, were gifted a selection of cupcakes, supplied by a local cake company, from the family of one of the Residents.
The Relatives had seen on social media a competition, ran by the company, for the gift for local care homes and nominated Dovedale, who won and received the prize this week.
One Colleague remarked, “It was a lovely surprise to open the door to Angel Bakery and receive the gift. Sometimes if is just the little things in life that can make a difference. It’s nice to feel appreciated by families while working through such challenging times.”
