Residents at HC-One’s Ashington Grange care home in Ashington, Northumberland are busy celebrating the year of the ox for Chinese New Year.
Residents took part in crafts sessions to make their very own Chinese-inspired lanterns to decorate the dining room tables ready for a Chinese meal.
They were treated to chicken and sweetcorn soup to start and a choice of sweet and sour or curried chicken for mains served with rice or noodles and prawn crackers. For dessert, they enjoyed delectable banana and pineapple fritters.
