Residents had lots of colourful fun today playing fun fair-themed games of skill at HC-One’s Acacia care home in Sherwood, Nottingham.
They enjoyed a game of ‘toss the hoops’ where Residents threw hoops over five pegs, each with a different difficulty and score. The aim of the game was to rack up as many points as possible using five hoops.
The game was so bright and colourful that it reminded Residents of trips to the seaside and fun fairs. There was lots of laughter and story-swapping as Residents reminisced about the holidays they used to go on with their families.
One Resident commented: “I would love to go for a day at the seaside again with some lovely sunshine.”
