Nottingham care home Residents enjoy a fun game of HooplaResidents at HC-One’s Acacia care home in Nottingham recently enjoyed a fun game of Hoopla with a lovely box of chocolates up for grabs for the winner.
 
Acacia care home Residents first watched Colleagues play Hoopla, so they understood how the game worked. After the Colleagues had finished with their go, Residents got stuck in. Residents were aiming the to throw the Hoops over the stick with the highest number to gain the highest score.
 
Every got really competitive, everyone wanted to beat each other and Residents really got into the event. “I can do it!” shouted Resident John.
 
A lovely box of chocolates was up for grabs for the winner, which went to Irvine, the overall champion.
 
Georgine Jackson, Home Manager at Acacia said: “Hoopla is good for Residents wellbeing as it helps with their hand eye coordination and is a good arm exercise to keep them muscles working.”
