Residents of Willow Brook care home spent the afternoon getting to meet some exotic animals at their very own mobile mini zoo.
All of the residents got to see tarantulas, tortoises, snakes, lizards and even a skunk names Poppy too! The animals were a huge hit with the Residents, with many not having even seen these before.
All of the animals at the mini zoo are rescue animals and the Residents got to learn all about them and then being able to them if they wanted to afterwards. Everybody really got involved with the mini zoo which was great for the staff to see.
One of the Residents commented ‘I loved getting to meet all the animals, it was a lovely afternoon and I held animals I never thought I would!’
