Two old friends have been reunited at HC-One’s
Hinckley Park care home in Leicestershire, after living on the same road as each other in the past.
When she moved into Hinckley Park, Betty Truelove asked a question, is there a Mr Roberts in Hinckley Park? It turns out that there is.
Betty and Michael, and Michael's late wife, Hazel, all used to live on the same road in Burbage. They regularly walked their dogs together and ran into one another while out and about.
It's been many years since they've last seen one another so it was a pleasure for Colleagues at the home to be able to reunite them. They spent an hour catching up over coffee and it was wonderful for Colleagues to hear them talking about the people and places that they collectively know.
They have made plans to meet up again and reminisce over a Hinckley that many Residents and Colleagues will never know.
