Today there have been a lot of Residents at Ghyll Grove care home in Essex who visited the salon to get their nails and hair done. Staff always make it feel extra special for Residents and today they had cake and tea; some even had a little glass of prosecco to make the experience a little more relaxing.
Residents all choose the colour they wanted on finger and toe nails. And staff put the radio on with a bit of background music. Some of the Residents decided to have curlers in their hair and said that it was really nice to be pampered for the day and that they were booking for the next week to come back in.
One Colleague commented, “We enjoyed the afternoon making the Residents look and feel lovely. We are going to arrange another day next week to get pampered again as it went down so well.”
