Residents at HC One’s Medowbank House care home received letters from pen pals today.
Residents at the Manchester care home have started new friendships with some pen pals.
Residents receive pen pal cards from people who live in Manchester and have been opening up and reading them today.
Everyone was very excited to be embarking on this journey and hopefully when it’s all safe again the home will be able to invite those who sent in letters over for a lovely afternoon tea.
It’s lovely for Residents to read about how other people have been coping during these difficult times and reading all about their lives too. They are looking forward to writing back too and sharing their thoughts with the pen pals.
