Perry Barr care home enjoys festive New Year celebrationsFestivities were had at HC-One’s Perry Locks care home as the home held a month of celebrations in honour of Christmas and New Year.

The Residents enjoyed many church services and shopping trips for festive gifts, as well as receiving visits from local schools for concerts, and even a concert performed by a local Brownies group.

Everyone in the home also enjoyed taking part in Christmas jumper day as they donned their favourite festive attire, before each area of the home held a Christmas party complete with live entertainment and a delicious home made party buffet.

Some Residents also chose to visit a local restaurant with Colleagues of the home, as they enjoyed a delicious Christmas meal alongside entertainment and festive games.

Finally, to bring in the New Year in style, the home’s entertainer, Mark, provided a karaoke sing-along session, which Residents enjoyed as they sang their favourite songs before ringing in the New Year.

Rebecca Bristow, home manager, commented: “Everyone has dedicated themselves to ensuring the Residents enjoy themselves this festive period, it’s always wonderful to see the Residents happy.”
