Perth care home Residents and Colleagues receive vaccinationsResidents and Colleagues at HC-One’s Strathtay House care home in Perth have recently received their coronavirus vaccinations, a huge step towards fighting off the virus and making the home safer.

Strathtay House received a telephone call on 5th January to advise that the local vaccination team would be visiting Strathtay House on 6th January to give Colleagues and Residents their coronavirus vaccine.

Colleagues were telephoned to come to the home and Residents consent had already been given and was documented.

Strathtay Home Manager, Morag Shea, was first to receive the vaccine with many of the Residents and staff following, including Senior Care Assistant Alexander Stables and Scott Lazenby, who is a Care Assistant at the home. 

“I am delighted that the Residents and my fellow Colleagues are being offered the vaccine after what has been a very difficult few months.”

Colleagues were delighted to have been offered the vaccine and looking forward to positive futures.
