Planting flowers and tea afternoon from Hyde care homeResidents at Hyde nursing and nursing memory care home, on Tameside, have had a very busy week with a delightful tea and cake afternoon as well as a spot of gardening!

Today, Residents listened to some music while having an afternoon tea with delicious cake in the lounge. The care Colleagues spent time with the Residents having a good old chat and reminiscing. Eric, who is a Resident at the home, said that he thoroughly enjoyed the cake!

Also, recently Residents at Hyde Nursing have been getting their hands dirty and planting some flowers in fresh potting soil outside. All were smiling as they enjoyed the task at hand (even though it was a little messy!)

The sunny July afternoon brought peace and happiness to many of the Residents.

One Colleague commented, “We all had a feeling of achievement, accomplishment and personal satisfaction.”
