One Resident at HC-One’s Priory Gardens care home has spent the afternoon feeding the local birds.
Janet Armitage enjoyed her brisk afternoon restocking the bird feeders in the West Yorkshire care home’s garden and patio area.
She said: “It’s very cold and the birds must be cold too. They will enjoy the extra food.”
Janet enjoyed her lovely time helping out in the garden and making sure the birds are well fed and looked after.
Priory Gardens Home Manager, Sarah Hudson, said: “Feeding the birds is a meaningful one-to-one activity that has made Janet feel wonderful and very helpful.”
