Today at Aspen Court care home, in London, Colleagues and Residents have been busy crafting some Christmas decorations and cards.
Wellbeing Colleagues Debbie and Sharon have been organising some activities for Residents to get them truly into the spirit of Christmas, including making Christmas decorations, cards and baubles.
Seven Residents fully immersed themselves in the activity and there was so much fun had by all as well as a mince pie treat.
Debbie and Sharon said, “Painting really relaxes some Residents, plus it highlights some changes in others.”
Residents thought it was great fun, there was so much joking and laughing while painting, as well as conversations about church and memories. There was also some questions and discussion around Ark Angel Gabriel.
Mahendra Bidjadhur, Home Manager, commented, “I am so looking forward to seeing what Debbie and Sharon do next and for tomorrows on-line theatre show!”
