Portree care home hosts coffee morning to support charities HC-One’s Home Farm care home in Portree on the Isle of Skye hosted a coffee morning on Friday 27th September to raise money and awareness for Macmillan Cancer Support and Alzheimer’s Scotland.

Residents were joined by friends, family, team members and the local community for a coffee morning with live entertainment and delicious homemade treats. A local accordionist, Jimmy Stewart performed for the group and encouraged everyone to singalong or dance.

A great time was had by all, with the home raising close to £100 for the charities. One Resident commented: “What an enjoyable morning, it was great to listen to the accordion and chat with the visitors.”

Robert Ainslie, Home Farm Home Manager said: “Thank you to everyone who came to our coffee morning and supported us in raising money for two very worthwhile causes."
