Preston Residents join in with Caribbean Carnival DayTo celebrate Black History Month, Colleagues at Meadow Bank care home in Preston, decided to host a day of fun and good food by throwing a Caribbean Carnival Day. 

Colleagues and Residents wore colourful hats, there was face painting, games, dancing, singing and everyone enjoyed amazing food provided, by the remarkable kitchen staff. This included an afternoon party of party nibble, smoothies and iced tea. 

“We all really enjoyed the fun, singing and dancing and seeing the smiles on everyone’s faces. The Resident's loved the food, the music and singing,” remarked one Colleague.

One of the Residents on Willow House commented, “We loved the singing it was nice to just have fun.”

Home Manager, Anne-Marie Potter, said, “The day was enjoyed by everyone. Not only did it celebrate black history month but it brought some fun and joy to us all.”

The home plan on hosting even more themed days due to the success of this one.
