One very generous member of the team at HC-One’s Meadow Bank care home, in Bamber Bridge, has gone the extra mile to five Residents some beautiful gifts.
Susan Lucas is a Care Assistant on the Beech unit at the home and has been putting her craft talents to good use recently. She has been making dementia friendly activity cushions to help relieve stress for the Residents and they have been a big hit!
Susan has used zips and buttons to create different textures and bright colours. She is in the process of making another two for the home. Everyone is truly grateful to have such an amazing, talented and caring member in the team.
The Residents have found the cushions really helpful.
