Pride celebrations for Worsley Residents with outdoor musical entertainmentResidents and Colleagues at Worsley Lodge residential care home, in Manchester, had a lovely day celebrating Pride.

Everyone started the morning with a vintage lunch with finger sandwiches and a selection of cakes. The home then welcomed their first Entertainer in the garden, Susie B, for a long time!

They purchased lots of air guitars, trombones, microphones and tambourines, (see pictured).

The songs were flowing and some Residents were up dancing. All the staff that were able to, joined in including administrator, Julie, who was the rock queen.

Later there was a selection of drinks served and a rainbow cake.

Home Manager, Anne Bannon, commented, “All had a fantastic day and Residents said they cannot wait for our next party and entertainer.”
