An amazing Resident at HC-One’s Acacia Court care home in Pudsey recently celebrated her 102nd birthday, becoming the eldest Resident at the home.
Violette Nelson, a Resident at Acacia Court turned 102 on 3rd August and celebrated it in style. Colleagues at the home had set up a party for everyone in the home to celebrate Violetta’s milestone birthday. As well as this, Colleagues also organised for Violetta’s family to come and visit outside in the garden.
Violetta was inundated with flowers from friends, family and Colleagues at Acacia Court which brightened up her day tremendously and made her a bit overwhelmed. During the garden visit with her daughter, Violetta received a lovely Happy Birthday serenade as she received all her cards and flowers.
Violetta was over the moon with how her special day went and said: “Thank you to everyone for making my 102nd birthday so special.”
Residents really enjoyed the day and seeing Violetta receive all her beautiful flowers and cards. They also enjoyed the small part they had in the homes cosy lounge in the afternoon.
