Pumpkin carving fun for Halloween at Wigston care homeColleagues and Residents at HC One’s Cedar Court care home got into the Halloween spirit by carving pumpkins today.

The Residents at the Wigston care home created their own designs of what they wanted to carve into their pumpkins.

The Residents enjoyed drawing and creating their designs, and then the staff carved out the pumpkins with the support of the Residents. The Resident couldn’t wait to see their design ideas come to life.

Betty Clarke, one of the Residents, said “I loved being able to scare the nurses with my pumpkin!”

All the pumpkins have been placed in the entrance way and make a lovely display.

The home manager commented “Walking into work and seeing the pumpkin displays at the front door is quite impressive and brightens up the entrance way to give a Halloween theme.”
