Today the Residents at the Beeches residential care home, in Dukinfield, enjoyed an online Punch and Judy show.
Residents were given ice-creams and listened to favourite ice-cream van tunes, followed with Cliff Richard’s hit ‘Summer Holiday’.
The morning was enjoyed by all, and everyone enjoyed the snacks and had fun watching the Punch and Judy show. Many Residents said it brought memories back from their childhoods and holidays with their children, remember especially the shows at Llandudno pier.
One Resident said, “It was lovely to reminisce while enjoying an ice-cream cornet.”
Sade, the home’s Wellbeing Coordinator, remarked, “During these hard times I have tried to keep Residents’ spirits up and today’s activity was a success with everyone smiling and thinking back to their childhoods!”
