For Pride Month,
Brompton House nursing and residential care home, in Broadway, held a ‘rainbow day’ today for Residents.
There was a huge celebration of equality, love and diversity at the home with lots of different activities put on, by Colleague Vicky, including painting rainbows, baking cookies and decorating cake.
The cake and variety of music went down very well indeed!
One resident has stated that he loves all the laughter and happiness that surrounds the home.
Staff were absolutely overwhelmed at how different generations can be so welcoming towards difference, choices and love
Kate, Home Manager, remarked, “It is lovely to see how much heart the Residents put into such a beautiful day.”
“We have spread love and sang happy songs. We all united as one big family regardless our age, background and believes.”
