Rainbows at Blackburn care homeResidents at HC-One’s Old Gates care home were delighted to make the most of the current situation as they brightened up the day by painting rainbows for display in the home’s windows.

As symbols of hope for the local community, Residents decided to decorate their windows with the beautiful pictures, painting and drawing different rainbow pictures to brighten everybody’s days, in the hope that others would see them as they passed by whilst exercising outdoors.

The activity follows an inititative in the local community, in which people are placing drawings in their windows with the hope of lifting each other’s spirits.

One Resident remarked: “It’s such fun doing activities like this, such small acts mean so much at the moment.”
