Residents at HC-One’s Roseberry Court care home in Redcar recently enjoyed a little makeover and haircut as the home had its very own pamper day event.
On Friday 21st August, Colleagues are Roseberry Court set up a lovely pamper day for Residents to relax and feel fresh. The ladies loved having their hair washed, set and curled and spending time in the salon chatting to Colleagues.
The Residents were over the moon with their new hairstyles and some Residents even requested hair glitter. Resident Marjorie said: “I feel like a fairy with fairy dust in my hair and can’t wait to sparkle when the lights come on.”
Residents were also treated to refreshments and warm cheese scones as they chatted together with other Residents. Sutherland Court’s new Resident, Jean enjoyed spending time in the salon and chatting over some refreshments and said it has helped her settle in even more and she loves her new hair style.
Roseberry Court Home Manager Robin Bennett said: “Today’s event has been very uplifting and interactive, Residents looked amazing and were so happy with their new looks.”
